We have done so in the past. Specialist companies like Philips, ASML and NXP grew big here. Intel and Texas Instruments continue to innovate from their Eindhoven offices. They profit from a unique density of business opportunities, all within a 5 minute walk. Here, on our lush green Campus, the multinational gets a fresh perspective from the start-up next door. This is all supported with state of the art facilities and infrastructure available at the Campus. At High Tech Campus Eindhoven we offer all research facilities, tools, state of the art hardware a company could ever need. The direct access to the highway ensures visitors and employees can quickly travel to and from the Campus.
For the Dutch, this is all very hard to talk about. We don’t like to boast. ‘Act normal and you act crazy enough already’, is our household saying. We like to keep a low profile (except when the Dutch football team plays or when it’s ‘carnaval’!). We like to think that our natural modesty is a good fit with foreign tech companies. Partnerships between Dutch and foreign counterparts are proving to be very successful. Great examples are the partnerships between NXP, Freescale (semi- and micro-conductors) and Qualcomm, and the Intel acquisition of Silicon Hive, a Dutch start-up company.
