EINDHOVEN - Fe+male Tech Heroes, the High Tech Campus initiative aimed at promoting gender equality in technology, is excited to announce that Lori Glover, an esteemed tech leader and Managing Director of Global Strategic Alliances at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), will be delivering the opening keynote speech at their upcoming conference.
Glover is a trailblazing figure in the tech industry, with a distinguished career that spans building successful industry-academic partnerships and advancing diversity and inclusion in tech. In her keynote address, entitled "She Who Dares, Wins: Women Leading Fearlessly in Tech,” she will share her inspiring insights drawn from years of experience leading in the tech industry.
Glover's opening keynote is just the beginning of what the Fe+male Tech Heroes conference has to offer. Attendees can also look forward to a variety of informative and engaging sessions, such as Kimberly Fuqua's talk on "Unleashing Your Potential: Strategies for Excelling in a High Impact Career." As a Global Diversity and Inclusion Advocate and Managing Director Customer Success at Microsoft with 25 years of experience in the tech industry, Kimberly offers insights on active listening, positive energy, and emotional agility that can help boost career success.
The conference features two panel discussions: one on how collaborative leadership is reshaping business with Sylvia van Es (Philips Netherlands), Marian Spier (FEM-START), Janneke Niessen (CapitalT), and Sandra Doreleijers (PSV Women), and another on breaking stereotypes with men as allies in tech with Johan Feenstra (SMART Photonics), Marco Pieters (ASML), Andy Lurling (LUMO Labs), and Ed Heerschap (Holland Expat Center).
Attendees can also participate in tech breakouts on 3D printed medicine, wearables, and social responsibility in deep tech startups, or career breakouts on imposter syndrome, how to boost confidence, and how to be a role model in tech.
