From September, meditation classes will start again in the farm on Campus (HTC 61). Do you want to learn to relax, recharge and unwind, so that you can get back to work fully charged? Classes are on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Marjolein Jansen is one of the teachers. She has been an enthusiastic meditator for about 12 years. “Daily meditation makes me feel at home. It relaxes my mind so I can see the bigger picture.” She provides silent meditations on Thursdays and supports the meditation group. "The first week of September we organize introductory sessions to experience the different types of meditation, but you are always welcome to join, even if you have never meditated before."

Introduction sessions (12.15 – 13.00 hr)
• Thursday September 1: What is meditation & how to start (presentation) – Marjolein Jansen
• Monday September 5: Introduction to Vedanta (presentation) – Anjali Ma
• Tuesday September 6: Introductory guided meditation – Michel Decré

Calendar weekly meditations (12.15-12.45 hr), starting Thursday September 8
• On Monday Anjali hosts a Vedanta mantra recitation. This is an easy and powerful method, which is even accessible for the most restless minds.
• On Tuesday Michel gives a guided meditation. This is always deeply rooted with the foundations: posture, breath, and mindset. The sessions are organized in cycles of 5 or 6 weeks, focused on a particular theme, like clearing one’s mind, awareness, happiness, fears, ego, compassion, etc.
• On Thursday Marjolein hosts a silent session. In this session, there is no guidance. Everyone can follow his/ her preferred practice in silence.
