High Tech Campus Eindhoven welcomes Molex as a new resident to building Lucis One on the south side of the Campus. Molex, a global electronics leader and connectivity innovator, a prominent player in the electronic components industry, has chosen High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE) as the new home for its Eindhoven office. Moving from its previous location at Eindhoven airport, Molex is set to occupy the entire first floor of the upcoming Lucis One. Scheduled for completion in fall 2024, Lucis One is the first of 7 new buildings.
"We believe in the power of a collaborative and dynamic workplace,” said Bart van Ettinger, vice president, Molex. “High Tech Campus Eindhoven provides our team with a dynamic setting to physically connect and thrive in an environment ideally suited to integrate work, well-being, and relaxation. Beyond Lucis One being a high-end building, High Tech Campus Eindhoven is a vibrant community offering opportunities for exercise, dining, refreshing walks during lunch breaks, and so much more.”
In November 2022, the Brabant Development Agency (BOM) organized an innovation tour for Molex on the High Tech Campus (HTCE) to inspire and to show Molex the high-tech environment of the region. “We visited for instance Solliance, Holst Center and the 5G hub. It is great to see that this visit contributed to the decision of Molex to stay in the region and to move to HTCE. A location that can be used for Molex’ future growth and serve as a stepping stone to the rest of Europe,” said Maarten Brouwer, Team leader Foreign Investments at BOM.
Elsbeth Smit, senior director Real Estate at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, expressed excitement about Molex joining the Campus community. "We warmly welcome Molex into our campus eco-system. We see their selection of HTCE as a confirmation of our shared goals for innovation and collaboration. We are curious to see how Molex transforms the first floor to their own look and feel.”
High Tech Campus Eindhoven anticipates continued growth, remaining a hub for technological advancements and collaboration. Elsbeth Smit: “Molex is the perfect example of how building Lucis One meets the demands of the current market. We are well on our way to attract more new companies to the building.”
Molex was advised by the tenant representatives of JLL. Verschuuren & Schreppers was the real estate advisor of High Tech Campus Eindhoven, in collegial cooperation with CBRE Nederland.
