The Grand Café, also known as the cozy living room of The Strip at the High Tech Campus, has been renewed. And it also has a new name: The Lucky Swan!
In 2004 the Grand Café was established on The Strip, to be the ultimate meeting place where Campus residents and guests came to have lunch and network. Over the years, the Grand Café has become more and more famous on the High Tech Campus. From 2014, the Grand Café was also used for social entrepreneurship (giving everyone a place to participate) in collaboration with the Colour Kitchen.
Currently, the Grand Café is still applying social entrepreneurship with employees from Eurest, Compass Group NL, and a new name has been devised for the Grand Café, namely The Lucky Swan. The Lucky Swan is named after the iconic white swans that swim around in the pond of the High Tech Campus.
The new concept of The Lucky Swan was developed at the end of 2019 and rolled out further in 2021. The Grand Café has been modernized with a new, inspiring environment in which our guests can network during lunch, dinner or drinks, both informally and formally. It is also possible to make this your daily workplace or to organize an event.
First event in the Lucky Swan: King's Day Eindhoven The first event of 2021 has already taken place on King's Day, in april. The Grand Café was the location for the backstage television show of King's Day Eindhoven. In 'The Orange Room' there was attention for talks about design, tech, fashion, music and more. To show what Eindhoven is proud of. We are extremely proud that the Royal family has been a guest in our Grand Café. Curious? Watch the recording of the Orange Room here.
Would you like to work in the Grand Café? Would you like to work for Eurest, the catering facilitator of the High Tech Campus? For the Grand Café we are looking for a Horeca Manager and for a Chef!
